All classes are open to all levels of experience. All classes include breath work, which is key to bridging the body, mind and spirit to work together. Each class ends with deep relaxation.

* = Classes marked with an asterisk will be especially accessible to beginners.

Beginner* classes are designed to take an in-depth approach to the essential aspects of yoga including breath work, postures, and meditation. Ample time is allowed to break down posture alignment so that seasoned students will also benefit from this study.

Community Class* ($5) makes yoga accessible to those in the community who cannot easily afford the regular rate. Includes stretching and strengthening poses designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

Gentle* classes focus on breath and body awareness with alignment. Gentle yoga increases flexibility, mobility, and circulation. This class will reduce stress in your body and in your mind. Includes sound therapy using singing bowls and aromatherapy with essential oils.

Hatha includes stretching and strengthening poses designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation. The word “hatha” can be translated as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance.

Kundalini includes more meditations and mantras (vocal vibrations) along with the poses and breathwork. Endurance is key when it comes to Kundalini. Exercises are held for longer periods of time, or repetitions of an exercise are done for a longer period. Yogi Bhajan taught that, through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and meditation, your glandular and nervous systems are stimulated, and your capacity for creative potential is heightened. You gain inner vitality to compensate for the adverse effects of stress so you can excel in life.

Slow Flow helps create space to slow down from life's fast pace. In this slower version of our vinyasa class, movement is synchronized with breath in a smooth, flowing way. You will be calmly challenged and energized in this class where more focus is on alignment and building internal heat. Simply be in your body and breathe without rushing. As you flow through powerful, graceful sequences at a slower pace, the focus turns to building and engaging your strength and concentration.

Vinyasa is a great work-out and work-in! Students are encouraged to coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Builds strength, endurance, flexibility, and connection to self.

Warm Kundalini Flow spend the first half of the class dedicated to the flow of warming up through Sun Salutations before moving into the Kundalini kriya. Kundalini is considered the "yoga of awareness" and is the oldest form of yoga still in practice today. Classes typically open and close with a musical style of group chanting called Kirtan. This style opens your heart, increases your vitality, builds stamina, endurance and is deeply infused with devotional energy. Kundalini yoga utilizes breath, movement, meditation and mantra to align body, mind and spirit. Warm classes allow the body's tissues to soften more deeply, as the room is kept between 75-85 degrees.

Warm Power Vinyasa is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio (between 75 and 85 degrees) which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. Meditation and active self inquiry are used as tools of transformation; encouraging students to discover creativity, awaken passion, and create confidence and new possibilities.

Yin* works on the energetic body and stretches connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice which moves into stillness, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia. Includes sound therapy using singing bowls and aromatherapy with essential oils.

Yin/Yang combines both Yin and Yang elements in one class providing a balanced practice which can have a powerful effect on energy levels. This class unites the benefits of passively holding yoga poses to the use of dynamic sequences and standing postures.
